I am 26-months old today!

Hello and Happy February! I can't believe that January is already past us.

I hope you have been well. I have been having a very nice time being two. I can do all kinds of neat stuff now. I can count up to seven (I really enjoy counting my toys), I know several colors and I can identify shapes as long as they are a square or a triangle! I also like to feed myself, which at times can be rather messy, and I really like helping Mommy cook. One of my favorites is oatmeal. She lets me stir the oats on the stove. We also make PB&J sandwiches! Mommy recently took me to an art class where we painted. It was a good time. I am still in pre-school one day a week and we just signed up for next school year where I will go twice a week.

I got to spend some time at Camp Grandma again. My parents went to Cancun for a "work" trip. Daddy's company had a big event there and Mommy and Daddy got to go. I think they missed me a lot though! Mommy has been traveling a lot for work. As a matter of fact, she has more frequent flyer miles this year so far than Daddy! Mommy also took a photography class so she can take even more pictures of me! Gymboree is going well. I like to see my friends. I am starting to "sing" the tunes of the songs I know, which is really fun. Daddy and I play piano several times a week. My favorites are "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and "Down by the Station." I watch Sesame Street on TV and I just started watching Mr. Roger's Neighborhood.

I recently got another haircut. I can sit in the barber chair all by myself now, and Mr. Phil (my barber) uses the clippers on me and I don't even cry! Grandma and I go to the library program once a week and I really love my books, especially ones about trains and airplanes! We have had a few days warm enough to go to the park. I like to swing and go down the slide. We also have played soccer in the backyard. I can kick the ball and I know "no hands!"
